Staff Accountant/AP Specialist

Job Summary:
Targeted Victory is looking for an individual to work on the Finance & Accounting team to assist with the General Ledger activities and Monthly Financial Statement close. This position will require the individual to possess strong time management skills, attention to detail and experience with GAAP reporting and ASC 606 Revenue Recognition. The individual should have demonstrated ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment and be able to coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with processing monthly accounting transactions
Assist with month end close process
Prepare monthly journal entries for review by Senior Accountant
Prepare monthly account analysis and reconciliations
Generate ad-hoc reporting as required
Work closely with all team members to ensure accuracy and completion of all financial reporting within established deadlines
Assist with preparation of audit schedules for interim and year end reviews
Assist Controller with other accounting tasks as needed
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
2 years of experience as a Staff Accountant involved in the month end close process of a multi-dimensional organization
Solid working knowledge of GAAP accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google products, Intacct, Salesforce

Key Responsibilities:
Support the annual budgeting and monthly P&L forecasting process for the company across all departments and products.
Assist with cash flow forecasting.
Support the business teams in creating client fundraising budgets.
Create efficiencies in the month-end close process. Ensure a smooth flow of information between the product teams and the accounting team during month-end close. Help the accounting team with certain month-end close reconciliations (deferred revenue, accrued expenses, etc.)
Help Business Leads understand the financial performance of their respective P&Ls
Create presentations and slide-decks for the Executive Team.
Develop financial models and provide strategic insight based on model outputs.
Assist with any financial system implementations.
